Employee engagement is a big thing now. Got a project? It’s your baby. Got a suggestion? Own it.

People tend to take better care of things they own. Whether it’s a house, a car…whatever. If they’re only renting, they see it as temporary. They know they can walk away from it fairly easily. Go try something else. No strong attachment. It’s not tied to you; you’re not tied to it.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word. Not just comprehending what’s said. But to really “get it.” Receive it for yourself and own it. So your understanding, your belief, can’t be taken away from you.

James wrote it’s not enough to believe in God; even demons know there’s a God. But do you put your faith in Him? Do you believe He’ll do what He says?

God doesn’t just pay lip service to abundant life. He gives us promises. Own them.
